Our university participates in eduroam, and can use the wireless LANs of other universities and research institutes. For details, please refer to here.
How to connect to LEONETWiFi-1x
- Display the Wi-Fi list on your device.
- Select “LEONETWiFi-1x”.
- Enter your username (ID) and password (same as Portal-OSU).
*If you need to select an authentication method, etc., please select the following value.
SSID (Network name): LEONETWiFi-1x
Security: WPA2 Enterprise
Encryption: AES
Authentication method: EAP-PEAP
Connection method (manual)
- I want to connect my iPhone or Android to LEONETWiFi-1x
- I want to connect my Windows 11 computer to LEONETWiFi-1x
What to do if you suddenly can't connect
- Move to a location with better reception and try connecting again.
- The server certificate for Wi-Fi connections is updated every February or March. After the update, you may not be able to connect because of the new certificate.
Please try the following solutions:
[For Windows]
Please delete the current Wi-Fi settings and set it up again. For instructions, see How to delete a network.
[iPhone users]
The updated certificate may be displayed on the screen. Follow the on-screen instructions (screen sample) and tap "Trust" or "Continue" to proceed.
[Android]
Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect.
If you are unable to connect, delete your current Wi-Fi settings and set it up again.
* The deletion method varies depending on the device, so please check the website for your device.
